Description

Level 1 Food Safety 3 hours + 1/2 hour assessment

Level 2 Food Safety 6 hours + 1 hour assessment

Level 3 Food Safety 18 hours + 2 hour assessment

Level 4 Food Safety 36 hours + 4 1/2 hour assessment

Who is it for?
Food safety training is required for all employees who handle food. The level needed is according to the level of the job responsibilities held. i.e. level 1 for beginners, level 2 for food handlers, level 3 for supervisors and level for supervisors/managers
How is it structured / delivered?

These courses can be taught over days, half days or by distance learning ( an M4 teacher will attend for assessment & assessment preparation)

Prerequisites
None entry qualifications needed for level 1 and 2 Level 3 & level 4 candidates should have a fair amount of catering experience and/or a level 2 in food safety
Qualification
Level 1,2,3 or 4 in Food Safety in Catering
Accreditation
CIEH (can be completed in house if required)
